Coming Home to Essential Nature

A Nondual Weekend Retreat | November 7th & 8th, 2026 | Ottawa, Canada

This retreat is an invitation to come home to our Essential Nature,
the ever-present field of awareness, wholeness, and love
that exists beneath our conditioned ways of experiencing ourselves.

Our essential nature is always present, though it is often overlooked as our attention becomes absorbed in mental activity and the habitual ways we identify ourselves. This retreat is an opportunity to recognize and return to essential nature, and become more aware of the patterns that conceal its presence.

Through guided meditation, periods of silence, contemplative inquiry, and experiential practice, we will explore direct pathways to knowing essential nature as well as the conditioned patterns that obscure this deeper dimension of ourselves. As these patterns begin to soften, we naturally come home: reconnecting with a profound sense of presence, freedom, unconditional love and belonging that are intrinsic to who we are.

This retreat is a powerful opportunity to investigate and see through
the conditioned sense of self we take ourselves to be.

Is this retreat right for me?

This retreat may be right for those who are curious about exploring essential nature and those who have spent years engaging in personal growth, healing or self development but are now drawn to deeper truth. No prior background with nondual teachings is required—only a sincere curiosity and willingness to explore your own direct experience.

If you're tired of trying to “fix” yourself and feel ready to move beyond positive and negative thinking, beyond the labels of yourself as ‘good’ or ‘bad’, beyond the idea that you have to improve in order to be ok, this retreat is for you.

This retreat is not designed to produce a better, perfect version of yourself, but instead is a profound invitation to uncover what has always been here. If you are ready to know yourself as the quiet loving awareness that witnesses it all, please join us. Ultimately, the intention of this retreat is to create the conditions that help you remember what you truly are.

Access a profound peace, contentment, and deep connection that is present no matter what is happening within or around you.

We don't become our Essential Nature, we learn to recognize it,
return to it, and gently release the patterns that veil its presence.

Field at Sunset

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,

there is a field.

I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,

the world is too full to talk about.

Ideas, language, even the phrase each other

doesn’t make any sense.
